The timer is set using DIP switches on the PCB inside the Water Valve Control.
Open the Water Valve Control by removing the catch cover on the top of the casing and pressing down on the catch to remove the front panel.
Program the preferred water shut off from the last time water was used by positioning the DIP switches as follows. Default is set to 24 hours:
|DIP 1||ON||1 hour delay before the water valve will shut.|
|DIP 2||ON||2 hour delay|
|DIP 1 & 2||ON||4 hour delay|
|DIP 3||ON||6 hour delay|
|DIP 1 & 3||ON||12 hour delay|
|DIP 2 & 3||ON||18 hour delay|
|DIP 1, 2 & 3||ON||48 hour delay|
|DIP 1, 2 & 3||OFF||24 hour delay (default)|
If the orange WARNING LED is flashing it is to indicate that the batteries need changing in the Water Valve Control.
Unplug the valve from the Water Valve Control and lift the Water Valve Control it off its retaining screws.
Remove the catch cover on the top of the unit, press down the retaining catch to release the front cover. Unplug the battery holder, insert 4 x new AA batteries, reassemble and plug in valve
Re-initialize the system:
Batteries should be changed every 9 months.

When the Leaksafe valve is opening or closing the "Valve Operating" LED on the Water Valve Control flashes green for approximately 10 seconds.
WHILST THE "VALVE OPERATING" LED IS FLASHING GREEN THE WATER VALVE CONTROL CANNOT RECEIVE ANOTHER SIGNAL. PRESSING THE ON/OFF BUTTONS ON THE WATER VALVE CONTROL DURING THIS PERIOD WILL NOT ACTIVATE THE VALVE.
